About the process

IQCS’s Management Consultation Process

To evaluate the organisation’s existing system and practices against the requirements of the desired standard, the gap analysis is conducted by the IQCS team. The gap analysis process includes visiting the organisation, meeting with departmental heads, reviewing existing documentation and making observations. Finally, the Gap Analysis Report is prepared and shared with the organisation. The gap analysis report describes the identified gaps in the existing system and the recommendations to bridge the gaps.
IQCS, in consultation with the organisation, establishes a project team to implement the desired management system. A project facilitator is also nominated for coordinating the project activities among the organisation’s various functions.
IQCS team conducts awareness session(s) on the requirements of the desired management system. The target audience for the such session(s) includes top management, middle management, project team members and project facilitator.
IQCS team, in consultation with the project facilitator and project team, will design and develop the desired management system documentation. Management system documentation includes System Manual, System Procedures, Process Flowcharts, Procedures, Job Descriptions, etc. Designed and developed documents are reviewed and approved by the client organisation’s management before implementation.
Once the designed and developed documentation is reviewed and finalised, the personnel training on these procedures and processes is provided to the concerned persons. After training, all these procedures are issued to the concerned staff for implementation. The performance is monitored, and the designed system is revised and adjusted based on the implementation results to make it effective and efficient.
IQCS team develops and trains an internal audit team for periodic internal audits as required by the desired system.
After 2 to 3 months of system implementation, an internal audit is carried out by internal auditors under the IQCS team’s supervision. The audit report prepared by internal auditors is reviewed by the IQCS team. Corrective Actions are initiated and implemented on the weak areas identified in the audit report.
IQCS Principal Consultant conducts a pre-assessment audit to evaluate the state of the readiness of the client organisation’s management system. The pre-assessment audit report is prepared, and corrective actions are implemented in weak areas.
Once it is verified that the desired management system is fully implemented, IQCS recommends to the client organisation for a final audit. The client organisation is encouraged to identify and select the Certification Agency based on the criteria.
